Villa Excuse My French

Villa Excuse My French has two separate pavilions that house 3 bedrooms. Up to 6 guests can sleep in this rental villa. The first bedroom, which is the master suite, is in a private pavilion. It has a European king-size bed, a television with English and French channels, a large wardrobe, a makeup mirror, and an ensuite bathroom. A glass sliding door opens to a private balcony, which overlooks lush greenery.

The main pavilion has two other bedrooms. They are both upstairs as the ground floor has all the common areas. These bedrooms too have a similar décor and facilities. They overlook the internal courtyard and share a terrace. All three bedrooms have been deliberately kept simple because a crowded space can hinder a restful night. There are three bathrooms in the house. The master suite has its own bathroom. Guests staying in the second and third bedrooms share a toilet in the corridor between the two rooms.

The star of the show is the central courtyard. It has a private swimming pool, surrounded by many loungers, where you can relax before and after your swim. The pool terrace has a sofa area too if you need the comfort of cushions and an outdoor dining table for your alfresco meals. This spacious area provides more per-person space compared to what you get in hotels.

You will see plenty of palm trees, banana trees, and other native plants on the island everywhere. There is even a lawn and a garden footpath that connects the various areas of the outdoor space. Enclosing the villa is a dark stone wall that adds to its beauty.

The two floors in the main pavilion are connected by an internal staircase. The ground floor has a cozy living space with a large sofa and a wall-mounted television. It’s a fabulous room with two opposite walls that open completely, which makes the room feel as if it is part of the surrounding greenery. One wall opens to the lawn and the opposite wall to a small forest.

The kitchen is packed with many modern appliances like a refrigerator, toaster, oven, blender, coffee maker, and dishwasher. There is also a wine storage unit. The dining area is outside, on the terrace.
